My Super Late Velocity Magazine Awards Post
Shame on me. I attended the Velocity Magazine Awards 2 Saturdays ago, and I’m just now getting to tell about it. It was a wonderful night. Everyone looked SPECTACULAR!!! I kept comparing it to the NAACP Awards. lol It truly was ran like the awards shows that you see on television. I mean, people were looking SHARP!!! Host April Watts made a GRAND entrance by rising up from the bottom of the stage. Wow!!! People came from as far away as Chicago, which says a lot about Velocity Magazine’s presence across the globe. I can go on and on, but check out the videos below. ESPECIALLY the ODD performance from Hottie of VH1 reality show fame.

Sunday November 30th WASHINGTON REDSKIN SEAN TAYLOR will be inducted into the Redskins Ring of Honor. The Sean Taylor tribute song and video “Every Given Sunday” was recorded Wednesday November 26th, 2008 at 7pm at Phase Recording Studios.
EZ Street, 93.9 WKYS afternoon drive personality along with Grammy nominated artist Raheem Devaugh, Anwan Glover aka Big G, the HBO’s hit series The Wire and NBC’s Law and Order and founding member of the Backyard Band, Miss Kim, lead female vocalist of Rare Essence and Jamil “Face” Johnson, Wale, Hazel and King Pin Slim , Duce Your Highness have come together to create this lyrical masterpiece of dedication to the late Sean Taylor.
“ The idea for doing this song is simple. To honor # 21 Sean and to send a message that to the community that we must never forget that there is still much work to do stop the violence in our community. Sean’s tragic death acts a reminder”, says EZ Street.
A music video was produced by the award winning Glightfilms production team.
