Honestly I don’t like this song, but i listened to it all anyway since its 4 people on here I wanted to critique everyone seperately. I’m not the type to say I don’t like something and not say why so i hope ya’ll ain’t sensitive.
Tork: your words are fine just tighten’ up that delivery..not that bad but needs to be tweaked seems as if you were talkin’.
J-rich…is obviously relatively new to the booth an if not doesn’t have real friends around him thats gonna keep it real cause he is very off beat, he rhyming to fast for one the beat don’t call for that it’s like some bars are short an others are long an he speeds up to catch it..couldn’t even peep his lyrics as a result. Just didnt seem comfortable
J-rich, may have been aigh ti don’t think that effect needs to be on his voice tho.
Sace had a much better delivery however he was lacking in the rhyming category..i heard the story but at certin points where you expected a rhyming word it don’t come.
Now fellas I am by no means hating (i shouldn’t even have to say that)cause if i didnt intend to help make ya’ll better i wouldn’t have said nothing. all the things i pointed out are fixable.
Which reminds me YES MEN OF THE DMV you aren’t doing anyone a favor by just saying you like everything if you don’t…cause when your people get in the club and perform or go on the road with their act an away from their hood/comfort zone they gonna wonder why the reaction aint the same keep it real tho it may hurt their feelings in the interim it will spare them in the long run.
This track (like the rest of the Torkaveli Sessions mixtape) was just a collection of tracks sitting on my hard drive.
I recorded my verse minutes after buying my new mic just to see how it sounded. I then emailed the beat to each of these guys and then edited them all together.
Sace would kill me if he saw this posted on here. He didn’t think it would ever see the light of day.
I just sent it in because I’ve been MIA for a second and wanted to avoid being put on a milk carton.
But Mo Betta, I know to send music to you because you’re gonna shoot it straight and skip all the yesman BS. I appreciate that man.
