Tabi Bonney threw a party to celebrate the video premiere for the song “Rich Kids” from his new album Dope. Tabi was a gracious host all night and both the video and the party were crazy. Look for “Rich Kids” to begin airing soon on VH1. In attendance were DMV All-Stars: DJ Heat, Dre “All Day In The Paint”, Lyriciss, Tony Knight, X.O., EZ Street and Tae Barz. Also in the house: Malachi (Red C) Johns (the former manager of Mambo Sauce); be on the lookout for his new artist, singer David Corey.
Awww. Hey now!!! I’m an all-star!!! Peep more here.
The Wasteland Mob had a video shoot last weekend for their next single “Boots Laced Up”. The video was directed by the DMV’s #1 director: Skinny Corleone. Also in attendance were rappers 20 Bello, Hevewae, Porche’ 9-11 and Lady Dyanna, who is featured on the song. There was a little bit of drama about midway through the shoot when 3 cars full of undercover policemen swooped down on everyone involved in the video. It was somewhat ironic, and confusing, because there were also actors on set who were portraying policemen.
